American Momentum Bank's Alyssondra Haymaker Joins Finance Committee of Glazer Children's Museum

Alyssondra Haymaker, commercial portfolio manager at American Momentum Bank, has joined the Finance Committee of Glazer Children’s Museum in Tampa. In this volunteer role, Haymaker will work with the museum’s leadership team and committee members to oversee financial activities and support the mission to inspire children through play.

The museum’s Finance Committee collaborates with the museum’s president and chief financial officer to review financial statements, assist with the annual budget, and provide input on financial strategy and investment decisions. Committee members also review the museum’s annual audit and tax filings, and offer guidance on financing, when needed.

“As a commercial portfolio manager, my primary focus is assessing how business decisions impact financial health and sustainability,” Haymaker said. “I’m excited to apply that same analytical approach to help the Glazer Children’s Museum continue providing high-quality, hands-on learning experiences for children and families across Tampa Bay.”

Haymaker joined the committee earlier this year, after being nominated by Brad Abbey, senior vice president of commercial banking at American Momentum Bank. Abbey has served on the committee for several years and currently sits on the museum’s board of directors as treasurer.

A licensed CPA and commercial banker, Haymaker brings extensive experience in underwriting, financial analysis and risk assessment to the committee. Her background in both accounting and banking gives her a strong foundation for providing thoughtful oversight of the museum’s fiscal operations.

“I’ve always been passionate about helping organizations thrive through sound financial management,” she said. “And, as a mom of two, I’ve visited the museum many times and love that it fosters curiosity, imagination and creativity in such an inclusive environment.”

The Glazer Children’s Museum is a non-profit children's museum located in downtown Tampa. Opened in 2010, the museum’s mission is to create and foster engaging, impactful play experiences for children and families to learn and thrive. The 53,000-square-foot museum features a combination of permanent and traveling exhibits, comprehensive programs and special events.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Alyssondra to the Finance Committee,” said Sarah Cole, president and CEO of Glazer Children’s Museum. “Her deep commitment to our community and her financial expertise will help advance our mission to inspire children through play.”

American Momentum Bank commended Haymaker’s dedication to community service and commitment to advancing educational and cultural opportunities in Tampa Bay.

“We are incredibly proud of Alyssondra’s involvement with the Glazer Children’s Museum,” said Porter Smith, American Momentum’s Tampa Bay market president. “Her financial expertise and community spirit reflect the bank’s values and our commitment to supporting organizations that make a lasting difference in our region.”
