American Momentum Bank appoints prominent healthcare executive to Board of Directors

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (June 27, 2023)— American Momentum Bank has appointed Jason Jennings, FACHE, president of Baylor Scott & White Health - College Station Region, to the bank’s Board of Directors. Jennings brings with him more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He will serve on the board’s Marketing Committee as well as the Audit & Compliance Committee.
“Jason’s executive leadership experience and involvement in the communities we serve will make him a great addition to our team,” said Donald A. Adam, Chairman and CEO of American Momentum Bank. “We welcome Jason to the Board of Directors of American Momentum Bank.”
As president of Baylor Scott & White Health - College Station Region, Jennings oversees the operations of two hospitals and 16 regional clinics serving the greater Brazos Valley area. Prior to joining Baylor Scott & White Health, he served as the chief operating officer (COO) for Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center (HBMC), one of the 49 hospitals and hospital partners in the Baylor Scott & White Health system.
Jennings has also served as COO at Mary Black Health System, in Spartanburg, S.C., and as CEO of HealthSouth City View Hospital, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Jennings is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences. He also holds master’s degrees in physical therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch and in business administration from the University of Texas at Tyler. Jennings received the Outstanding Alumnus award from Texas A&M University, College of Biomedical Science. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
